What this site collects.
Very little. Last updated October 27, 2026.
No cookies of our own
This website sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising scripts. Its own small script runs the phone menu and the copy-address button, and its fonts and images are served from this site. The exceptions, all described below, are Cloudflare’s visit counter, any small security scripts Cloudflare adds, and the embedded YouTube players.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and basic request details to deliver the pages, protect the site and check that it stays reachable, under its own privacy policy. To tell people from automated traffic, Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie (__cf_bm). It expires after 30 minutes of inactivity, and Cloudflare says it does not use it to follow you from site to site. If Cloudflare checks your browser or asks you to pass a challenge, it may also set cf_clearance, a security cookie that records the result so you are not checked again; by default it lasts 30 minutes. Cloudflare shows us traffic totals, such as requests by country, and a sample log of requests its security features challenge or block, with the IP address, browser and page requested, for up to 31 days.
Visit counts
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which loads a small script from Cloudflare. Cloudflare says Web Analytics does not use cookies or local storage to count visits, does not fingerprint visitors by IP address, browser or any other data for its analytics, and removes IP addresses when it processes the data. It shows us counts of which pages are viewed, which pages and sites sent visitors here, visitors’ countries, browsers, operating systems and device types, and how fast pages load. Page addresses are recorded without anything after a question mark. We can see these counts for the past six months.
Embedded videos
The bench videos are embedded from YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). On the home page, your browser loads YouTube’s player as the page opens or as you scroll toward the videos, which shares your IP address and basic request details with Google. Playing a video shares more. Google’s privacy policy applies to the player.
If you email us
We use what you send to reply and to keep a record of the conversation. We do not sell it. We share it only as needed to answer you, for example with MicoCalo’s co-founders and advisors, and with the provider that hosts our email. To ask about or delete anything you have sent, write to mm@micocalo.com.
Browser signals and changes
Neither this site nor its visit counter tries to identify or follow individual visitors. The visit counter runs the same whether or not your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control; a content blocker, or turning off JavaScript, stops it. The embedded YouTube players are Google’s and are covered by Google’s policy, above. If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
